Optim East was started in 2007 by Manuel Ramos and Maxwell Shi.
Manuel Ramos, who is French and Portuguese, has spent 15 years abroad in England, Holland, Spain and China. With an MBA degree from a top French Business school, he dedicated his studies and professional life to East-West business relationship setting up several communication strategies for private companies and officials on the Asian markets. Furthermore, Manuel is a special contributor of several western newspapers writing regularly articles about China.
Maxwell Shi, who is Shanghainese, is a highly recognized project manager. He has relevant past experiences in such fields like event management, online projects and corporate identity set up, in various cities of China as well as overseas market such as US.
Both founders decided to join their efforts in order to deliver highly effective communication tools for the Chinese market.
Optim East team is made up of experienced design and media experts coming from multicultural backgrounds. The team speaks French, English , Chinese , Spanish , Portuguese , Russian, Cantonese and Shanghainese.
